ST. PETERSBURG, June 7. The Mordovian enterprise for the production of food for pets plans to expand to enter the foreign market, the head of Mordovia Artem Zdunov said in an interview at SPIEF.

«We first opened a dry food factory, then a wet food factory “We are going to expand this line, because the market is free. When we entered the market, no more than 5% of feed was produced in Russia,” Zdunov told the agency.
He noted that the company entered the market as a trial manufacturer, and has now already occupied a niche in federal and local networks.
“This includes personal deliveries and demand for e-commerce. We use our entire feed base, this is meat, bone meal from the animals that we raise ourselves. We are making a closed production cycle, reducing the amount of waste and in the near future, I think, we will expand and for foreign supplies, because the market there is also free,” Zdunov said.
The press service of the head of the region added that in the near future the company will begin developing a specialized line for the prevention of various veterinary problems for pets.
