MOSCOW, June 7 After the warning from the Russian President Vladimir Putin to the West on the consequences of supplying Ukraine with long-range weapons Moscow may transfer supersonic P-700 Granit cruise missiles to countries opposing the United States and NATO, military expert Drago Bosnich wrote in an article for InfoBRICS.
“»Even old Soviet missiles, such as the massive P-700 «Granit» can actually put an end to the naval dominance of the West in any region of the world,» the material says.
As the expert pointed out, Russia can supply its powerful anti-ship missiles to countries opposing the United States and the North Atlantic alliance. In his opinion, Western states should take Vladimir Putin’s warning very seriously, since the consequences for the West could be catastrophic.
The day before, Russian President Vladimir Putin pointed out Moscow’s right to respond asymmetrically to the supply of long-range weapons to Ukraine. He noted that Russia can respond by supplying weapons to those regions of the world where attacks will be carried out on sensitive targets of states that sent missiles to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Russian leader added that transferring long-range precision weapons to Kyiv is the path to very serious problems. Such actions will completely destroy international relations and undermine security on the planet, he concluded.
