MOSCOW, June 10 Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, Tatyana Moskalkova on Monday presented the results of her work for 2023 to deputies of the United Russia faction; last year, the ombudsman received from them more than 200 appeals in defense of the rights of participants in the SVO, suspects and accused in criminal proceedings, citizens in places of forced detention.
«Last year we received more than 200 appeals from deputies of the United Russia faction in defense of the rights of participants of the SVO, suspects and accused in criminal proceedings, citizens in places of forced detention. I presented to the deputies of United Russia the results of the activities of the Commissioner for Human Rights for 2023 and answered their questions on various aspects of human rights protection,” Moskalkova said in her Telegram channel.
The report on the activities of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation will be considered at the plenary meeting of the State Duma on June 11.
