The recommended retail price of the new version of the Chinese model is 6,490,000 rubles, taking into account current promotions, the purchase of this hybrid will cost 5,890,000 rubles.
Founded in the summer of 2020, the premium brand Voyah is part of the Chinese concern Dongfeng. According to the manufacturer’s idea, the brand name should evoke associations with the word “voyage”, which translated from English means “travel”. The role of the first-born Voyah was played by the crossover Free, which debuted in December 2020. Let us remind you that sales on the domestic market started in August next year, and it reached the Russian market at the end of 2022. Now the family has been expanded with the addition of the Sport Edition.

And if in the Russian Federation they decided to sell such a crossover as a special version of the current Voyah Free EVR, then in its native China it is a restyled model that debuted in the summer of 2023. Let us remind you that the premiere of the Sport Edition for the Russian market took place at the end of April this year during the 46th Moscow International Film Festival. Local dealers began collecting pre-orders in the second half of last month.
Now the Russian office of the brand has declassified the price tag of the new product. According to the official Voyah website, the recommended retail price of the Free EVR Sport Edition is 6,490,000 rubles. And taking into account the current promotions, the purchase of this hybrid will cost 5,890,000 rubles, while the company emphasized that the offer will apply to a limited number of copies.
The sports version of the crossover has a different, narrower radiator grille with a different pattern; on top there is a luminous strip that connects the headlights to each other. The lower part of the front bumper with the air intake is also designed differently. The Voyah Free EVR Sport Edition also has a new spoiler on the top of the tailgate and a set of original 20-inch black wheels.
The interior of the sporty crossover also has its own differences: for example, a number of functional elements and controls have changed their location, in addition, the center console has been revised, and the gearbox selector has moved to the steering column. Rear passengers have access to a multifunction display that allows them to control various vehicle functions. There are three displays on the front panel, each with a diagonal of 12.3 inches. The list of electronic assistants includes: adaptive cruise control with speed limiter, parking assistant, all-round cameras, lane keeping and emergency braking systems, etc.

Voyah Free EVR Sport Edition was equipped with a hybrid installation, which includes a gasoline turbo engine that acts as a generator for recharging the traction battery with a capacity of 39.2 kW *h. Two electric motors (one on each axle) are responsible for the movement; their total power is 490 hp, maximum torque is 720 Nm. The total range is 1000 km (calculated using the WLTP cycle). The sport version takes 4.8 seconds to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h, and its top speed is 200 km/h.
Meanwhile, in the home market, the Voyah Free crossover received a “budget” version. As Kolesa.ru reported at the end of last month, such a hybrid is offered with one electric motor instead of two, in addition, several updates are provided for this model.
