MOSCOW, June 13 International documentary film festival «RT.Doc: The Time of Our Heroes», dedicated to the heroes of a special military operation, will be held from 28 until June 30 at the exhibition-forum «Russia» at VDNKh, reported the documentary directorate of the TV channel.

“Our festival is about those people who do not consider themselves heroes. Who simply loves the Motherland and is ready to serve it to the last. Who defends Russia, our truth and our Russian world. Our films are about very good people doing the right thing. I am praying for you and proud of you. Come watch our movie about our heroes,” said the editor-in-chief of RT and the Rossiya Segodnya media group. Margarita Simonyan.
The program will include 13 films about the heroes of a special military operation — soldiers and military doctors, front and rear volunteers, military correspondents and everyone who defends the Motherland. Viewers will see projects by documentarians from federal channels and independent journalists.
In February 2023, the RT television channel launched the first international documentary film festival «RT.Doc: The Time of Our Heroes» in Moscow. After the premiere, the festival went to the cities of Russia: Krasnodar, Kazan, St. Petersburg, Irkutsk, Kursk, Volgograd. The festival also visited the Donbass — screenings took place along the front line in units of the Russian Armed Forces, as well as in a hospital.
Documentary films about the heroes of the Northern Military District were seen by viewers in Argentina, Azerbaijan, Abkhazia, Belarus, Egypt, Zambia, Italy , China, Lebanon, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Peru, Tajikistan, Turkey, South Ossetia and Mongolia. Screenings in these countries were held with the support of Rossotrudnichestvo.
Attendance at the festival events is free. Pre-registration is open on the website. The main shows will take place on June 29-30.
