
MOSCOW, June 17The Moscow City Court recognized the arrest of Reuters news service producer Konstantin Gabov as legal in the case of participation in an extremist community, the court reported.
“The decision of the Basmanny Court of Moscow was left unchanged, the appeal was not satisfied,” said the agency’s interlocutor.

The Basmanny District Court of the capital at the end of April arrested the man until June 27.
As reported in court, the producer is accused under Part 2 of Article 282.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation in an extremist community). Gabov participated in the preparation of materials for publication on the Navalny LIVE YouTube channel, owned by FBK*.
A court in the Murmansk region also at the end of April detained Russian video journalist Sergei Karelin, who worked with the Associated Press.
