Alina Zagitova entered into a verbal conflict with the famous singer Nikolai Baskov after the Muz-TV award. What angered the Olympic champion is in the Sport article.
“Dear backup dancer…” How dare he! After the end of her sports career, Alina Zagitova was in great demand. A few days ago, the famous figure skater took part in the Muz-TV award, and in several roles at once — she presented a prize to one of the nominees (Mot received the “Plate” from Alina’s hands) and performed on the same stage with singer Lyusya Chebotina. This time there was no singing, and this is only for the better — Alina acted as Lucy’s “double” as part of the performance to the song “Best Friend” and looked extremely stylish and organic in this role.
Basque, by the way, could run into the righteous anger of the skater more than once. About an hour before Alina and Lucy went on stage, he made a borderline joke about Olga Buzova — after her performance, he turned to the singer with the words: “For the first time I saw Olga fully dressed.” To this, he almost immediately received a response from her on social networks: “Once again I am convinced: even if you have a microphone in your hands and you are the presenter, sometimes it is better to remain silent than to speak.” And considering that Alina and Olga are friends, Nikolay could well have flown even more powerfully.
Is Zagitova ready to fight in showbiz? But if you look at it objectively, did anything outrageous happen? By showbiz standards, Baskov definitely didn't cross the line. The awards ceremony lasted several hours, and by the end of it the guests were pretty exhausted, and the other hosts (for example, Lolita) weren't even embarrassed that they were already tired and wanted to go home. Against their background, Nikolai, in fact, pulled everything out on his own — he joked a lot and wittily, improvised well and tried to somehow involve the audience in what was happening.
For this purpose, it’s not only shameless to slightly tease your colleagues in the shop, it’s practically necessary. Otherwise, all this action would simply be impossible to watch. Besides, who else can do this if not a long-time veteran of the pop scene? On the scale of Russian showbiz, Basque is an unconditional legend, having the moral right to small liberties that do not cross the line of what is permitted.

And if Buzova’s attack on the presenter can be understood — she understands the realities of the market and is good at black PR — then why should Alina get involved in these squabbles? After all, the Basques are unlikely to remain silent. He already answered the same Buzova, and quite reasonably: “I can do it without a microphone. Unlike those who scream at it like a goat.” Is Alina ready to continue the discussion in this area? And if suddenly not, then is it even worth starting all this? On the other hand, Alina and her PR people clearly chose the show business path for her media image. And here, as they say, all means are good.
