YAKUTSK, June 18 Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived at the V.A. Higher School of Music. Bosikova (HSM) in Yakutsk.
During the visit, the President of the Russian Federation will communicate with students at GSOM. 
The Higher School of Music was created on the initiative of the first president of the republic Mikhail Nikolaev in 1993 and unites all levels of general education and special training of musicians. The institution is one of the leading universities for training professional personnel in the field of musical art and culture in the Far East.
During the work of the HSE, 515 people received an education, according to the background information of the Kremlin press service prepared for the event. Currently, 279 people are undergoing training.
“Over 30 years, students of the HSE have won the Grand Prix more than 1,000 times, received the titles of laureates and diploma winners of interregional, all-Russian and international competitions for young musicians-performers,” the background materials say.
In 2023, the institution's stock of musical instruments was updated for a total of over 22 million rubles, of which 16 million rubles were allocated from the federal budget. In 2021, design and estimate documentation for the construction of the second stage of the Higher School of Music building complex was developed, and the ceremonial installation of the first pile took place on April 27.
