MOSCOW, June 18Nine young musicians from Russia and China became laureates of the IV International Competition for Young Pianists Grand Piano Competition, according to the competition website.
The list of laureates included: Lev Bakirov, Vladimir Rublev, Varvara Zarudneva, Ivan Chepkin, Elisey Mysin and Kirill Rogovoy (Russia), Jichin Lin and Yi An and Thales Yun Hei Chan (China). All of them will perform on June 18 at the closing of the festival in the Tchaikovsky Hall, accompanied by the Svetlanov State Orchestra of Russia conducted by Ivan Nikiforchin.
At the end of the concert, the creator and artistic director of the competition, Denis Matsuev, will announce the winner of the Grand Prix.
