The American brand will show its “hot” new product in about a month, on July 25. There is no official information about the technology yet.
The Chevrolet brand, owned by General Motors, has been producing one of its most famous models — the Corvette — since 1953 (with minimal interruptions). The current sports car with the factory index C8 appeared in 2020. The current version also has a modification with the addition of E-Ray and a hybrid “filling”. Very soon the brand will present a new “hot” version of the two-door – Chevrolet Corvette ZR1.
< p>The American brand has begun the countdown to the premiere of the 2025 Corvette ZR1 model year. Judging by the short teaser, the new product will debut on July 25 of this year. The video does not lift the veil of secrecy over the appearance of the future model, but makes it possible to hear the sound of the engine with which it was equipped.
There is no official information about the “filling” of the model yet. According to preliminary data, the new Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 was equipped with a 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine, which is capable of producing 862 hp. and 1119 Nm of torque. Whether these rumors are true will become known only towards the end of next month.
< p>Based on earlier teasers and spy shots, the 2025 Corvette ZR1 will feature a massive rear wing on the trunk lid. It is expected to provide increased downforce compared to the Corvette Z06's Z07 Performance Package rear spoiler, which produces 700 pounds of downforce.

At the end of last year, it became known that GM would turn Camaro, Corvette and Escalade into sub-brands with several models. Then it was reported that the Corvette family would include an evolved mid-engine supercar, a liftback with an electric powertrain (to compete with the Porsche Taycan), as well as a “green” Corvette crossover.
Recall that in the spring of 2023, GM announced farewell to the sixth generation Chevrolet Camaro, and also hinted at the possibility of an “indirect successor”, most likely with a completely electrical equipment. More specifically, the proposed Camaro family could eventually include a green 2+2 coupe and convertible, a three- and five-door crossover, and some kind of flagship sports car that sits one step below the upcoming new Corvette.
The role of the farewell version of the muscle car was played by the Chevrolet Camaro Collector's Edition, shown at the beginning of last summer. The version is available in coupe and convertible bodies, the list of differences includes colors, decor and nameplates with plaques in the interior.
