MOSCOW, June 21 Singer Elizaveta Gyrdymova*, known under the pseudonym Monetochka*, faces criminal prosecution for evading the duties of a foreign agent, according to the capital’s Telegram channel prosecutor's office.
The department noted that Gyrdymova*, recognized as a foreign agent and twice in a year brought to administrative responsibility for violating the procedure for the activities of a foreign agent, continued to distribute materials without appropriate instructions.
“»The Moscow prosecutor's office initiated criminal prosecution of Gyrdymova * under Part 2 of Article 330.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (evasion of duties provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation on foreign agents),” the message says.
