MOSCOW, June 25. Russian IT and cloud services provider Beeline Cloud has successfully implemented a project to modernize and scale the IT infrastructure of the online retailer of household appliances and electronics «Kholodilnik.ru», the company reports.
Using the Kubernetes platform (open source software for orchestrating containerized applications, 18+) based on the Deckhouse containerization platform from the company «Flant» in the Beeline Cloud, the retailer was able to significantly increase the performance and reliability of its services.
As noted in the message, Kholodilnik.ru sought to ensure high performance and fault tolerance of its platform, especially during periods of peak load, such as promotions and sales. To achieve this, it was decided to switch to a modern container management platform, which will ensure flexibility, scalability and reliability of the IT infrastructure.
As a result, it is possible to automatically scale resources depending on current loads, which makes it possible to increase the system’s resilience to failures and minimize downtime. Time to deploy new applications has been reduced by 30%, allowing for faster introduction of new features and updates. The use of the Deckhouse platform in beeline cloud reduced the cost of supporting and managing IT infrastructure, and the integration of modern security tools ensured compliance with high data protection standards.
