MOSCOW, June 25The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, after the terrorist attack in Dagestan, called on the security forces of Chechnya to strengthen their efforts to prevent terrorism and religious extremism, and also called on every Chechen to be especially vigilant towards relatives in order to protect them from the harmful influence of terrorist ideology.
According to him, on Tuesday he held a meeting with senior staff of security agencies and law enforcement agencies. Issues of strengthening efforts to prevent terrorist crimes, as well as the region’s participation in a special military operation in Ukraine were discussed.

“In connection with the latest tragic events in Dagestan, I called on the leadership of law enforcement agencies to strengthen their work to ensure public safety and prevent terrorism and religious extremism. Particular emphasis must be placed on countering radical ideology emanating from European countries. At the same time, I especially noted that any encroachments the lives of law enforcement officials and government agencies will be severely suppressed. To the fullest extent of the law, not only the perpetrators of the crime will be punished, but also those who indirectly assisted them in this. I also called on every Chechen to be especially vigilant towards their closest relatives. protect them from the harmful influence of terrorist ideology. Negligence in this matter can lead to serious tragic consequences that must be eliminated through the joint efforts of the authorities and society,” Kadyrov wrote in the Telegram channel.
