
MOSCOW, June 25 The official exchange rate of the yuan to the ruble, set by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation for Wednesday, decreased by 4.77 kopecks, to 11.8105 rubles, the dollar exchange rate decreased by 9.6 kopecks, to 87.277 rubles, the euro decreased by 34.12 kopecks, to 93.7347 rubles, follows from data from the Bank of Russia.
After US sanctions on the Moscow Exchange, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation will set official rates from June 13 dollar and euro on business days based on bank reports and over-the-counter trading information. At the same time, the yuan exchange rate is still determined by the market rate of the Moscow Exchange.
On June 12, the United States expanded sanctions against Russia to include the Moscow Exchange. Against this background, exchange trading in the dollar and euro was suspended and transferred to the over-the-counter market.
