The Supreme Court of the self-proclaimed DPR sentenced a native of the Tver region to 15 years in a strict regime penal colony in a case of high treason (Article 275 of the Criminal Code). This was reported to TASS by the court's press service.
The man's name was not specified. It is unknown when the sentence was handed down. According to security forces, the native of the Tver region «held the position of deputy chief of staff of one of the units of the territorial defense of Ukraine and was detained during a firefight.»
When and how exactly the man left for Ukraine is not reported.
In May, the Supreme Court of annexed Crimea sentenced five Zhuzhchins from occupied Oleshky in the Kherson region to 11 to 16 years in a strict regime penal colony. They were accused of collaborating with Ukrainian intelligence and passing them information about the Russian military.
