The cross-liftback of the Swedish brand, which has received a portion of changes, has already gone on sale in Europe and Canada, it will be released to other markets later this year year.
The Polestar brand, which separated from Volvo in 2017, has delivered over 160 thousand units worldwide since the start of sales of the “two” in 2020 (the models are officially presented in 27 markets). The compact cross-liftback debuted in 2019 and is based on the CMA (Compact Modular Architecture) modular platform, which it shares with sister models Volvo, Lynk & Co, as well as Geely.
At the beginning of last year, the Polestar 2 was already updated, and now the manufacturer has extended it to the 2025 model year. The refreshed cross-liftback boasts an increased power reserve on a single charge. For the Long Range Single Motor option, the figure increased from 653 to 659 km (when calculated using the WLTP cycle).

For this version, the range without recharging was increased from 546 to 554 km. In both cases, the indicators improved by about 5%.
The update also slightly affected the appearance of the Polestar 2, although the main design elements of the model remained the same. The palette received a couple of new body color options: we are talking about the Vapour shade with a slight metallic effect (the company noted that it was “inspired by modern urban architecture”), as well as the dark aluminum Storm shade (debuted on the Polestar 4), the colors have arrived to replace the Magnesium and Thunder palettes that left.
In addition, the exterior of the cross-liftback was refreshed with a pair of new sets of alloy wheels: we are talking about 19-inch Aero, as well as 20-inch Pro graphite, which are offered in the Pro Pack version. By the way, it also suggests the presence of a bright yellow (the color was given the name Swedish Gold) stripes on the seat belts. The interior of the Polestar 2 2025 model year received dark brown Nappa leather upholstery.
The company said that the Climate Pack package, available for the updated “two”, includes a heat pump, functions heated rear seats, heated steering wheel, as well as heated nozzles for supplying windshield washer fluid.
