BUENOS AIRES, June 26 General Juan José Zuniga, whom former Bolivian President Evo Morales accused of attempting a coup, said he intends to return his homeland, El Deber quoted him as saying.
“We will return our homeland,” Zuniga told the media on Wednesday after the military occupied the central square the city of La Paz, where the main government buildings and parliament are located.
El Deber reports, citing sources, that the general was previously removed from his post as commander-in-chief of the army.
