Armenia confirmed participation in the NATO summit in Washington
Armenia accepted the invitation to take part in the NATO summit in Washington, the Republic's Foreign Ministry informed.
The country confirmed its participation in the upcoming events. The Armenian Foreign Ministry emphasized that “there are no other agreements at the moment.”
The invitation assumes participation in the format of partner countries.
Formerly Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs James O' Brian announced that the United States has invited Armenia and Azerbaijan to a meeting of partners within the framework of the NATO summit. The military bloc summit will be held July 9-11 in Washington.
