MOSCOW, July 2 Presidents of the Russian Federation and Turkey Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan at a meeting in Astana on July 3 will be able to discuss the main important and sensitive issues, including the Kremlin expects that the topic of the Russian leader’s planned visit to Turkey will be touched upon, Russian Presidential Assistant Yuri Ushakov told reporters.
“»We have been planning a visit to Turkey for a long time. I think that the leaders will also discuss this issue. In addition, I think that there are a lot of topics for exchange of views between the leaders of especially those countries that play a very large role in the regional role, taking into account the location of Turkey. I will also mention that we maintain a constant dialogue with the Turkish side, continuous contacts by telephone. Most recently, as you know, our president received the Turkish Foreign Minister. All important, including sensitive issues, will be discussed. Of course, you can’t discuss everything, but the main ones will probably have the opportunity to discuss,” Ushakov told reporters.
«Naturally, the leaders will talk about the prospects for further joint work, including the mentioned visit,» Ushakov added.
