MOSCOW, July 3 The head of Roscosmos, Yuri Borisov, said that on July 10 he will fly to China is discussing a joint project to place a nuclear power plant on the Moon.
Previously, he reported that the state corporation, together with Chinese colleagues, is considering a project to deliver and place a nuclear power plant on the surface of the Moon in 2033-2035.
«It is very complex in itself, you need to deliver the unit to the Moon, land it… but we are taking on it and we hope, I am going there on July 10, with my colleagues from China we will move on to practical implementation. This is the level of 2036,» — Borisov said in the State Duma.
