MOSCOW, July 4 The Central Bank of the Russian Federation does not expect an increase in defaults on loans to companies and households; corporations have significant profits to service the debt, the head of the Bank said Russia Elvira Nabiullina.
“We do not expect an increase in the number of defaults either in corporate lending, or in corporate bonds, or in retail lending,” she answered the question of how borrowers service loans issued at high rates.
«If we talk about corporations, corporations made quite a large profit. Last year it was 33.3 trillion rubles, this is quite a large profit, this allows us to service loans,» Nabiullina said.
