A court in Moscow sent Colonel Artem Gorodilov to a pre-trial detention center on a fraud case; his regiment was associated with the murders of Bucha residents

The 235th Garrison Military Court in Moscow sent Colonel Artem Gorodilov, who is under US sanctions due to the war in Ukraine, to a pre-trial detention center for two months. An Interfax correspondent reports this.

Gorodilov is accused of fraud v especially large size(Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code). He did not admit guilt, RIA Novosti reports. The suppression meeting was held behind closed doors.

About the detention of a military man in Ryazan Kommersant reported this morning, citing an unnamed source. FSB military counterintelligence officers took Gorodilov to Moscow and handed him over to representatives of the Main Military Directorate of the Investigative Committee investigating the case.
