MOSCOW, July 5Skolkovo experts (VEB.RF Group) will discuss the introduction of innovations in industry, the role of artificial intelligence in the industry, as well as issues of import substitution of advanced technologies at the Innoprom exhibition, which will be held from July 8 to 11 in Yekaterinburg, the press service of the foundation reports.
Deputy Chairman of the Board for Innovation of the Skolkovo Foundation Kirill Kayem will moderate the session “Productivity for the high-tech industry of the future: increasing competitiveness and responsible production.” Experts will discuss the implementation of digital robotics solutions, artificial intelligence in production processes, as well as the principles of lean manufacturing. 
What solutions may emerge in terms of digitalization of industry and the creation of a new data economy will be the focus of the participants in the session “New Six-Year Plan: where to get the lever for a new technological breakthrough?” as part of the track «Innovation in Industry». Kirill Kayem will also take part in the session, the statement said.
Deputy Chairman of the Board for work with partners, Chief Managing Director of the Skolkovo Foundation Alexey Belyakov, during the session “Outlines of Innovation in Industry: Main Industrial Trends for the Years Ahead”, together with experts, will determine what production will be like in the coming decades, and what innovative trends will have an impact critical influence on the transformation and further development of key industries. The expert will also take part in the session “Digital acceleration of industry: robotization, AI, unmanned production.”
How to overcome existing difficulties by strengthening cooperation between researchers, engineers, small and large businesses to solve problems of technological sovereignty and achieve technological leadership will be discussed by experts of the session «Technological Leadership — New Horizons». It will be moderated by Alexander Fertman, Managing Director of the Skolkovo Foundation's Center for Industrial Technologies, the press service explained.
They added that Fertman will also take part in the session «Technological Entrepreneurship: Regional Aspect of Development». During the discussion, experts will discuss the possibilities of the «University Technological Entrepreneurship Platform» project for the formation of a tech entrepreneurship environment in the regions, as well as the role of small companies in ensuring Russia's tech sovereignty.
On the sidelines of the forum, Skolkovo residents will conclude a number of agreements. In particular, the Chelyabinsk company Insmartavtomatika will agree with the Golos Group of Companies to create a joint venture to implement the Smart Homes and Cities projects. Also, Skolkovo residents WestLink and Promobot will sign an agreement on the introduction of domestic robots into Russian industry. In addition, Skolkovo residents Eva Lab and the Third Opinion Platform will enter into an agreement implying the integration of the medical decision-making system into the Third Opinion educational platform, the press service concluded.
