The Meshchansky District Court of Moscow has arrested 24-year-old lawyer Gleb Troitsky in a case of participation in the activities of a terrorist organization (part 2 of article 205.5 of the Criminal Code). This was reported by the project «Beware, News», a card in Troitsky's name was published on the website of the capital's courts.
The details of the young man’s criminal case are unknown. As the authors of the telegram channel “Caution, News” write, on May 25, Troitsky tried to leave Russia, but was detained at passport control at the airport. A report on petty hooliganism was drawn up against the Muscovite (part 1 of Article 20.1 of the Administrative Code) and he was arrested for ten days. According to the court ruling, he swore and waved his arms, not reacting to comments from passers-by and security forces.
On leaving the special detention center, Troitsky was again detained and a report on petty hooliganism was drawn up again. On June 5, the Solntsevsky District Court of Moscow arrested him for 15 days. On June 20, the young man was detained again and sent to a special detention center according to a similar protocol.
According to the “Caution News” project, in August 2023, Troitsky was already arrested for 14 days in an administrative case of resistance to security forces (Part 1 of Article 19.3 of the Administrative Code). The decision of the Nikulinsky District Court of the capital states that a Muscovite refused to open the door to the employees of the Russian Guard who came to his home. Later, he allegedly “interfered with the inspection of the home” and grabbed the security forces by their clothes.
The Telegram channel “Caution, News” also draws attention to Troitsky’s social networks. The last time he logged into VKontakte was in the early morning of May 25. On the avatar of a Muscovite’s account there is a picture with the hands of two people who mutually squeezing each other's forearms against the backdrop of the flags of Russia and Ukraine. The caption on the picture reads: “No more brotherly wars!”
