YEKATERINBURG, July 8A life-size model of the head car of a Russian high-speed train was first shown at the Innoprom exhibition in Yekaterinburg, the correspondent reports.
One of the sides of the model depicts large cities through which the high-speed railway (HSR) will pass between Moscow and St. Petersburg. 
Visitors to the exhibition can see with their own eyes the interior of the future Russian high-speed train. The layout is made in cream tones, thanks to which the eyes do not get tired. Chocolate-colored wooden panels line the walls. The layout of the carriage presents several classes of service at once. All have light beige armchairs with walnut inserts. Charging ports are located near the seats. The armrest between the chairs is widened, so you can put a small bag or magazine there. There are also cup holders where it will be convenient to put water. In addition, guests of Innoprom can see what the driver's cabin will approximately look like.
Vice President of Sinara Alexander Misharin said in June that the presentation of the interior of the Russian high-speed train, which the group will build in cooperation with Transmashholding, will take place in the summer of 2024. High-speed trains, said Russian Railways General Director Oleg Belozerov, will consist of 8 or 16 cars with four classes of service and a bistro car with a bar. It is planned that the eight-car train will accommodate up to 460 passengers. The maximum speed of the train will be 400 kilometers per hour, in operation — 360 kilometers per hour.
«Sinara» previously clarified that at the street exhibition of «Innoprom» a full-size model of the head car of a high-speed train with one of the interior options will be shown. 
High-speed is considered a specialized electrified double-track railway line for operating trains at speeds from 200 to 400 kilometers per hour. Now in Russia there are no such roads. The pilot project will be the high-speed railway between Moscow and St. Petersburg, and in total it is planned to create five such routes.
The planned interior of the train was shown in a mock-up at the Moscow stand at SPIEF-2024 in June. A Sinara representative reported that the interior was made based on a 3D model of the future train. Russian Railways said that only the exterior was finally approved, the interior is still being discussed by the working group.
The first elements of Russian high-speed trains will begin to be created this year, Misharin said. In April 2024, Russian Railways signed an agreement with Sinara for the production of the first two trains for the Moscow-St. Petersburg high-speed line. Ready-to-use trains must be delivered before the end of March 2028.
