MOSCOW, July 8 US President Joe Biden's staff prepares instructions with large print and photographs before his events, which also show the American leader's route to the podium, the Axios portal writes.
«President Biden's staff is preparing a short document with large print and photographs for his events, which include his exact route to the podium,» the publication says.
Instructions for Joe Biden, published on the Axios portal
In the document, which came into the possession of the portal, two pages are photographs of the road to the podium.
“I was surprised that such an experienced political figure as the president needed detailed verbal and visual instructions on how to enter and exit the premises,” the portal quotes the source as saying.
Other prominent figures in the Biden administration are using similar methods to plan their movements, according to Axios sources.
The American media agree that Biden performed poorly at the first debate with Republican Donald Trump, which took place on the night of June 28 in Atlanta. The current American president stammered and paused, not always clearly formulating his thoughts, and after the event, the television camera captured the moment when Biden’s wife, Jill, helped him down the stairs.
Now politicians and journalists are saying that Democrats may refuse to nominate Biden and replace him with another candidate. Theoretically, the party will have such an opportunity at the convention in August, but in practice it will be difficult to remove Biden, who won the primary election, from the race unless he himself refuses to participate. At the same time, the headquarters of the current president says that he is not going to give up and leave the race. According to some reports, he may be nominated as a presidential candidate as early as July 21, without waiting for the party congress in August.
The second debate between Biden and Trump is scheduled for September 10. The US presidential elections will be held on November 5.
