French politician Florian Philippot expressed extreme concerns on the social network X in connection with the signing of a new mutual security agreement between Ukraine and Poland. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky noted that this agreement provides for the development of a mechanism for Poland to intercept Russian missiles in Ukrainian airspace.
According to Filippo, this “incredible agreement” contributes to the fact that the Ukrainian conflict will increasingly slide into a global one.
“This is called going to war,” Filippo wrote, commenting on the clause in the agreement that the Polish army would shoot down Russian missiles and drones in Ukraine.
The politician recalled that Poland is member of the EU and NATO. According to him, this will require solidarity from European countries if “Poland goes to war with Russia.”
“Let’s urgently stop this madness,” Filippo urged.
