MOSCOW, July 9 Russian military personnel of the Dnepr group of troops continue to control the Dnieper River, prevent the regrouping of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and destroy Ukrainian watercraft trying to reach the left bank of the river, said the head of the press center of the Dnepr group, Roman Kodryan.
«Units of the Dnepr group of troops carried out combat missions in the Kakhovka direction. They ensured control of the island zone of the Dnieper River. Artillery fire prevented the regrouping of enemy troops,» Kodryan said.
«We continued to destroy the Ukrainian Armed Forces' watercraft trying to land on the left bank of the Dnieper. They actively destroyed FPV drones, reconnaissance and attack unmanned aerial vehicles,» he added.
