The political scientist noted that Washington and Brussels are putting pressure on the Georgian authorities. The Pentagon is curtailing cooperation programs, the European Union is refusing to allocate the promised money. But Saakashvili's party, led by Salome Zurabishvili, the President of Georgia, is not calling for a boycott of the elections to be held on October 26.
Stanislav Tarasov suggested that after the elections, they will be declared falsified. And the opposition will try to create their own parliament, which will lead to dual power in the country.
