«More than 260 enterprises in the mechanical engineering industry operate in Moscow, which produce various products: machine tools, conveyors, elevators, industrial robots, technological equipment. Enterprises also develop technologies and devices for scanning. The development of the industry allows us to expand the production of breakthrough high-tech products and increase the technological sovereignty of the country «, the DIPP press service quoted Garbuzov as saying.
For example, 3D scanning technology from the Texel company is used, in particular, in the fashion industry — with its help you can virtually “try on” clothes of different models on a person and sizes. And for athletes, the system will use AI to show how a certain amount of training will affect the human body in a given period of time.
State Museum-Reserve M.Yu. Lermontov in Pyatigorsk received a scanning device from the ELAR company, which will allow digitizing the archive of documents on the history of the museum and the writer’s favorite places in the city. It is planned to digitize about 22 thousand items. Copies will be published in the State Catalog of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation and used for exhibitions and research work. The machine is capable of scanning old paper documents without damaging them.
Another capital company «Lasers and Equipment» in 2023 increased production by 2.5 times compared to the previous year. Its laser equipment is used for micromachining, additive manufacturing, five-axis machining and cutting, welding and more.
On the instructions of the Mayor of Moscow, the city is implementing a set of measures aimed at increasing investment attractiveness for domestic industrialists. The city has created comfortable conditions for the development of small, medium and large enterprises. Moscow entrepreneurs can take advantage of more than 20 systemic measures to support the city, such as targeted loans and subsidies. A number of anti-crisis tools have also been developed.
Moscow is a city with developed manufacturing. There are more than 4.2 thousand industrial companies operating in the capital, employing 725 thousand people. Every year, 40-50 medium and large enterprises, as well as about 100 small ones, open. They produce a variety of goods, actively introduce innovations and increase production volumes.
