THE HAGUE, July 11 Supplies of toxic chemicals from the USA to Ukraine during a military conflict, they violate the Chemical Weapons Convention, said Russia's permanent representative to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons and Ambassador to the Netherlands Vladimir Tarabrin at a session of the OPCW Executive Council.
«The Ukrainian regime, which is failing on the battlefield, is ready to commit any crime, including carrying out chemical provocations. This is being done with the approval of Western countries. The very fact of supplying toxic chemicals to the United States in the context of a military conflict — what Washington is currently doing in Ukraine — is a violation of Article I of the Chemical Weapons Convention,» the diplomat said.
He also drew attention to the fact that in 2015, the United States patented ammunition loaded with sarin, soman, tabun, and Novichok.
“It is absolutely obvious that the Novichok formula and the technology for its production were known in the West long before the provocations organized by British and German intelligence services in Salisbury in March 2018 and in Tomsk in August 2020,” the permanent representative said.
At the same time , as Tarabrin noted, opponents attribute exclusive possession of this chemical to Russia, deliberately misleading the OPCW.
Ukraine is also flagrantly violating the convention by using full-fledged chemical warfare agents against the Russian military, Tarabrin continued. He noted that many foreign experts and channels are talking about this.
They, in particular, draw attention to the fact that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are actively using drones to deliver toxic chemicals.

The fact that Kyiv regularly violates the Chemical Weapons Convention was announced at a briefing by the head of the radiation, chemical and biological defense forces of the Russian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov. At the same time, the OPCW, which is supposed to monitor the implementation of the convention, is today completely controlled by the West; it uses it to settle political scores with Russia.
