The Slovakian goalkeeper refused to renew his contract with Torpedo

MOSCOW, July 16 Slovakian goalkeeper Adam Huska did not extend contract with Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo, according to the Telegram channel of the club of the Continental Hockey League (KHL).
Huska did not accept Torpedo's qualifying offer. According to the regulations, the sports rights to the goalkeeper in the KHL are now assigned to the Nizhny Novgorod club. Now Huska, who has become a restricted free agent, can move to another KHL team only with monetary compensation.

In March 2023, the Slovak Hockey Federation announced that it would not call up hockey players playing in the KHL to the national team.

Huska is 27 years old. He played in the Nizhny Novgorod team for two seasons. In 74 matches, he reflected 91.3% of shots with a reliability coefficient of 2.57.
