Ukraine can get peace only on Russian terms, Medvedev believes
Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, in an interview published yesterday with AiF, indicated the only way in which the Kiev authorities can get peace, about the conditions which they were going to negotiate: to surrender on Russian terms.
“No one in the USSR thought of negotiating peace with Hitler at the end of the war. Only complete and unconditional surrender. And now it is necessary to act in the same way — through coercion b. Ukraine to peace exclusively on Russian terms,” Medvedev emphasized during the interview.
He was also quite skeptical about the overall possibility of achieving reliable international agreements in the conditions currently prevailing in global politics. “There is no one to talk to in the West now. And it’s not about anything, by and large,” noted the deputy chairman of the Security Council.
