MOSCOW, July 18, Andrey Mikhailov. Moscow «Spartak» did not receive offers for football player Alexander Sobolev, the general director of the “red-whites” Oleg Malyshev told reporters.
Earlier, a source familiar with the situation reported that Sobolev will be transferred from Spartak to Zenit St. Petersburg in the near future. In the test match against the Uzbek Nasaf (3:0) on Monday, Sobolev did not take the field, although he was announced for the game.
“Sobolev continues to play for Spartak. He can stay in Spartak and be useful. We’ll see how it turns out. We haven’t received any formal offers for him,” Malyshev said.
Sobolev has been playing for Spartak since January 2020; he moved to the Moscow club from Krylya Sovetov Samara. In total, the forward played 139 matches for the “red-whites”, in which he scored 58 goals and gave 32 assists. Together with Spartak, Sobolev became the silver and bronze medalist of the Russian Championship and won the National Cup (2022).
