MANAGUA, July 18 State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin conveyed congratulations from Russian President Vladimir Putin on the anniversary of the Sandinista People's Revolution in Nicaragua during a meeting in parliament in Managua.
“I would like to convey to you words of greetings and congratulations on the holiday from our President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin,” he said at a meeting of the Nicaraguan National Assembly.
In his speech, Volodin noted that the Russian Federation will continue to maintain relations with Nicaragua, its strategic partner, with which Russia has relations based on mutual respect.
“We stand for a fair multipolar world, the rule of law in international affairs, ensuring stability and security,” Volodin concluded.
The State Duma Speaker added that the dynamics of relations between the two countries are set by the heads of their states.
