Dandykin: New York is of great importance in the Donetsk direction

Military expert, captain of the first rank of the reserve Vasily Dandykin commented on the preliminary information that appeared that two battalions were surrounded in the village of New York in the DPR Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“The fighting near New York is serious,” he noted in an interview with the Lenta.ru portal. According to the expert, if units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are surrounded, then it is time for them to leave. Dandykin recalled that this happened in Avdiivka, when the Ukrainian military retreated from their positions because they were already being squeezed from all sides.
At the same time, the expert noted, now a similar situation has developed for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, not only near New York , but also in Krasnogorovka, and also closer to Ugledar.
“That is, in many places the Armed Forces of Ukraine are either surrounded, or are close to getting there,” Dandykin summed up.
