MOSCOW, July 21 The largest Duty Free in Russia announced plans to increase the size of retail space and open new stores at Domodedovo airport until the end of this year, the airport press service reported.
“By the end of the year, the company intends to open new stores at the Moscow Domodedovo airport (DME — ed.). With their commissioning, the retailer’s total sales area will exceed 6 thousand square meters,” said a representative of the airport.
According to an airport representative, in 2024 the company plans to open such new retail facilities at Domodedovo Airport as: “Toy World”, a lingerie boutique, a Belle You boutique and a multi-brand clothing and accessories store with an area of more than 600 square meters .
«The expansion of retail space became possible with the commissioning of a new segment of the T2 passenger terminal. Over the year, we increased the total area of retail facilities by 74 percent, and this process continues,» notes Andrey, Director of Domodedovo Airport Pavlov.
