KRASNODAR, July 22 A pharmacy employee injured in a gas explosion in a shopping arcade in Apsheronsk is in intensive care, the rest of the patients are not in in serious condition, reported the Central District Hospital of the Absheronsk region.
On Monday morning, the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations informed about a gas explosion that occurred in a building in Apsheronsk in the Krasnodar Territory; one person was rescued from the rubble. It was established that as a result of the explosion of the gas-air mixture, building structures collapsed on an area of approximately 100 square meters, followed by a fire on an area of 30 square meters. The fire was later extinguished. Earlier, a source reported that three victims were hospitalized, one was sent for outpatient treatment.< /span>
Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratyev added that the explosion occurred in a shopping row in Apsheronsk, the victims are being provided assistance, and if necessary, doctors from regional hospitals will be involved.
““Three people are not severe injuries, but one employee has severe injuries,” the medical institution commented, adding that we are talking about a pharmacy employee who is now in intensive care.
The Kuban prosecutor’s office has begun an investigation. Investigators of the regional Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case regarding the provision of services that do not meet security requirements.
