MOSCOW, July 22 Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed the head of Yakutia Aisen Nikolaev as chairman of the commission of the State Council of the Russian Federation in the direction of «Energy» instead of the former head of Kuzbass Sergei Tsivilev, it follows from the presidential decree on the website of the official publication of legal acts.
Putin signed a decree on 21 State Council commissions on areas of socio-economic development of Russia and their chairmen. They are headed by the heads of Russian regions.
“To appoint the head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) A.S. Nikolaev as chairman of the commission of the State Council of the Russian Federation in the direction of “Energy”,” the decree says.
Previously, this position was held by the head of the Kemerovo region, Sergei Tsivilev, who this year became the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation.
