"The decline in prices for fruits and vegetables has resumed: tomatoes and fruits have fallen in price, and prices for cucumbers and “borscht set” vegetables have continued to decline. For food products, excluding vegetables and fruits, the price increase was 0.11 percent. The rate of growth in prices for sugar and bakery products has decreased, deflation for poultry meat and eggs has accelerated,” the document states.
As the authors of the review write, in the week from July 16 to July 22, prices in the food products segment increased amounted to 0.07 percent versus 0.05 percent in the last reporting week.
In the segment of non-food products, the price increase was 0.12 percent, the same as a week earlier. In the sphere of regulated, tourist and personal services, price increases slowed down to 0.16 percent versus 0.22 percent.
