The Ministry of Defense reported on the elimination of Ukrainian Armed Forces drones over five regions of Russia
The Russian Defense Ministry reported on its Telegram channel that Ukrainian Armed Forces drones were destroyed over five regions of the country.
A total of seven Ukrainian Armed Forces drones were reportedly intercepted and destroyed over Kursk, three over Belgorod, two over Rostov, one over Bryansk, and one over Lipetsk regions.
Earlier, it was reported that a fuel and energy complex facility was hit by a Ukrainian Armed Forces drone in Orel. No one was hurt in the incident. In addition, a drone launched by Ukrainian armed forces crashed near a residential building in the village of Ratchino in the Lipetsk region. The glass was damaged, but no one was hurt in the incident.
In addition, a drone attack hazard was declared in the Belgorod and Voronezh regions. The Defense Ministry reported the destruction of 21 Ukrainian Armed Forces drones in the Bryansk region. It later became known that six Ukrainian fixed-wing UAVs were destroyed in the skies over the Kursk region by air defense forces.
It was also reported that a resident of the village of Bochkovka in the Belgorod district of the Belgorod region was injured in a Ukrainian Armed Forces shelling. She was diagnosed with a mine blast injury, a shrapnel wound to the arm, and barotrauma. She is currently receiving treatment at a local hospital.
Ukrainian armed forces regularly shell regions of Russia, both border and rear, using drones, missiles, multiple launch rocket systems, and, more recently, balloons.
