FSB showed interrogation of detainees for preparing terrorist attacks in Dagestan
Suspects of preparing a terrorist attack in an Orthodox church, detained in Kaspiysk, during interrogation announced plans to attack law enforcement officers with bladed weapons. A video of the interrogation was published by the FSB, which announced the detention of the suspects on the morning of July 27.
According to the FSB statement, the detainees are adherents of an “international terrorist organization banned in Russia.”
During the interrogation, one of the detainees stated that the accomplices did not have an initial plan for the terrorist attack, but in the end “came to the conclusion that one of the options was the church” on Lenin Street, writes RBC. The man also stated that he “acquired three knives” to attack the security forces, but his accomplice objected that “he wouldn’t go with knives,” and after that it was decided to choose another weapon.
Another detainee said during interrogation, that an attack was planned “on employees who patrol the streets.”
