MOSCOW, July 26 China and Russia plan to prepare a number of important visits this year, said Chinese Ambassador to Russia Zhang Hanhui.

The ambassador noted that contacts between China and Russia have been especially close recently.

«Just this month, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Zhao Leji and Vice Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Ding Xuexiang visited Russia and attended institutional meetings,» Zhang Hanhui said.
He added that China and Russia are ready to support each other, closely cooperate on the path of modernization of both countries, and promote the further development of Sino-Russian relations.
