BELGOROD, August 4 Two people were injured in shelling by Ukrainian troops in the city of Shebekino, Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported on his Telegram channel.
«Over the past hour, Shebekino has been shelled twice shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Two civilians were wounded. One man with a non-penetrating shrapnel wound to the chest independently went to the Shebekino Central District Hospital. After diagnosis and treatment of wounds, he was sent home for outpatient treatment. The second victim with barotrauma and closed craniocerebral injury is being taken by an ambulance team to Belgorod City Hospital No. 2,» he wrote.
The governor added that the shells were recorded on the territory of a social facility and a residential sector. In two apartment buildings and a social facility, glazing and facades were damaged. One car was also damaged by shrapnel. The administration and emergency services continue to go door-to-door.
The city of Shebekino is located approximately four kilometers from the Ukrainian border. Earlier, Gladkov reported that the woman died in a Ukrainian drone attack on an apartment building in Shebekino.
