MOSCOW, August 5Theater critic Rimma Krechetova has died at the age of 93, GITIS rector Grigory Zaslavsky reported on his Telegram channel.
«The neighbors called and said that Rimma Pavlovna Krechetova died yesterday,» he wrote.
He noted that Krechetova was an outstanding theater scholar, a graduate of the theater studies department of GITIS and a brilliant theater critic.
«A very intelligent conversationalist, who thought paradoxically, was not afraid to abandon her previous experience in understanding theater and telling stories about theater, excellent in any theater debates and table talk… Witty and at the same time always trying to be extremely delicate, so as not to inadvertently offend her interlocutor, no matter how simple-minded he was in her opinion,» Zaslavsky emphasized.
