KHARKOV REGION, August 6 Representatives of the Russian military industry are testing the latest satellite communications system on the front lines, a correspondent reports from the test site.

This allows for the rapid deployment of this complex on the ground, somewhere in a landing or on the front line, and the use of spacecraft resources for transmitting video signals or transmitting combat control signals,» said a representative of the military industry with the call sign «Cascade.» 
At the front, representatives of the military-industrial complex are working continuously. New models of weapons and communications equipment are being transferred for trial operation. According to a representative of the military industry, a tendency towards miniaturization of complexes has recently emerged, since large machines are now quite easily destroyed.
«There is a lot of new equipment, new classes of weapons now. We are looking at how the equipment behaves within the framework of reconnaissance and fire contours. This is a mobile SIGINT (electronic reconnaissance complex), which can be deployed almost anywhere. It is carried by two people, and can be deployed within five minutes. Any radio signals from the enemy are calculated, the coordinates are calculated, they are transmitted for subsequent work to artillery or «high-altitude birds» for additional reconnaissance and, accordingly, defeat is inflicted on these coordinates,» Kaskad said.
The industry representative showed a protected smartphone with applications that help make decisions on the front lines. According to the developers, these programs will help commanders quickly receive information about what is happening and make decisions instantly.
