Leonid Slutsky: It is unlikely that the Ukrainian Armed Forces' attack on the Kursk region took place without the participation of the United States and Western instructors
The Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Leonid Slutsky believes that the attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Kursk region could not have happened without the participation of Western instructors, and in the attempts of US officials to declare that the Pentagon and the White House were not involved in the attack — «few will believe».
In his Telegram channel, he wrote that the West is behind every crime of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and the Zelensky regime is only holding on thanks to the support of Washington and Brussels. According to the deputy, those who instructed and supplied weapons to Ukraine can be called accomplices in the murders of residents of the Kursk region.
According to information provided by the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov, the situation on the front remains tense. On August 6, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) numbering up to a thousand people attempted an offensive with the aim of seizing territory in the Kursk region. However, as Gerasimov noted, their advance was stopped, and the enemy suffered significant losses: 315 people, of whom at least 100 were killed, as well as 54 armored vehicles, including seven tanks.
General Gerasimov expressed confidence that the operation in the Kursk region would be completed with the defeat of the enemy and an exit to the state border.
