ST. PETERSBURG, August 9 Coal cars derailed while a train was being re-tracked at the Olenegorsk station in the Murmansk region, with one person injured, the North-West Transport Prosecutor's Office reported.
According to the department, on Friday at the Olenegorsk railway station, while a freight train with coal was being moved from one track to another, the freight cars of the train derailed.
«During the derailment, the car caught the shunting tower, which fell on the building with the worker inside. At present, the victim has been pulled out from under the rubble, and he has been given first aid,» the report says.
The transport prosecutor's office will check the circumstances of the incident, as well as compliance with safety requirements for the operation of rail transport.
