
MOSCOW, August 11 The French football club Marseille announced on its website the transfer of Argentine goalkeeper Jeronimo Rulli from the Dutch Ajax to the team.
Details of the transfer were not disclosed. As journalist Fabrizio Romano reported on the X social network, Rulli's contract with Marseille runs until 2027.
Rulli is 32 years old. The goalkeeper became the 2022 World Champion and the winner of the 2024 Copa America as part of the Argentina national team. In addition to Ajax, he previously played for Argentina's Estudiantes, Uruguay's Deportivo Maldonado, Spain's Real Sociedad and Villarreal, England's Manchester City and France's Montpellier. As part of Villarreal, Rulli won the Europa League in the 2020/21 season.
