ST. PETERSBURG, August 12 Two men who fled from St. Petersburg to another region were detained in the case of cruel the murder of a 25-year-old girl, the city headquarters of the Investigative Committee reported on the Telegram channel.
According to the department, the crime scene was an apartment on Krasnoputilovskaya Street. The men, under the influence of drugs, argued with the girl and attacked her with knives. The St. Petersburg resident died on the spot from multiple wounds, and the killers fled. 
Investigators opened a criminal case under the article «Murder with particular cruelty committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy.»
«During the investigative actions and operational-search activities carried out by employees of the regional division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of St. Petersburg, the perpetrators were detained in another region and delivered to St. Petersburg,» the Investigative Committee said.
Both were charged, and the issue of their detention is currently being decided.
According to the online newspaper «Fontanka», the girl received 112 stab wounds, and the suspects in her murder were detained in Ingushetia. There is no official confirmation of this information yet.
